Overview

McGraw-Hill’s Homework Manager is an easy to use learning tool that enables you, the instructor, to create and deliver assignments online and automatically collect the results from your students.  The assignments can be distributed and updated automatically by linking them to other instructors or teacher assistants who have a Homework Manager account.  Grades are automatically calculated upon assignment completion and can be exported to other course management software.

Homework Manager Workflow

After creating an account, simply sign in and add a course. The course will be aligned with a subject and a McGraw-Hill text book.  Each course section will have its own unique Web address your students will use to register their Homework Manager account and access any assignments you create.
Once your course has been added, you can begin creating assignments. Homework Manager provides several assignment types such as homework, quizzes, exams and practice assignments.  Assignments are created in four easy steps.  You’ll enter assignment details such as name and instructions; add questions from textbook question banks or create your own; apply assignment policies such as assignment type, time limits, feedback, and permission options; and publish the assignment to make it available to your students.
After publishing an assignment you’ll provide your students with a unique course section Web address to sign in and begin their online assignments.
Once your students submit their assignment, Homework Manager automatically grades the assignment for you. Homework Manager also provides several predefined reports covering assignment results, student performance, assignment statistics, item analysis or you can define your own custom report. It’s that easy!
Additional features include the ability to:

  • Copy courses or sections which save time when you’re managing more than one course and/or section.
  • Link sections to other instructors providing an easy way to keep all of your assignment materials consistent and in sync.
  • Export grade reports for use in other course management software.
