About the Author



Dr S. Shajahan BFSc., MBA, Ph.D., is Associate Professor & Founder Head - Accelerated Learning Centre of IIM Shillong. He is also working as a strategic marketing, CRM, retailing, and branding consultant for several corporate houses since 1997. He has written 12 books and published 125 research papers in journals of national and international repute. Most of his books are listed as text books / reference books for the MBA programme of Indian and overseas Universities. He has keen interest in academic research and has been awarded UGC fellowship for research work.

Dr. Shajahan has won several awards and citations. This includes listing by American Biographical Society, USA as a successful academician from Asia, in their directory in the year 2000, for publishing the maximum number of articles/papers. He has been honoured by Indian society for Training and Development (ISTD), New Delhi as the author of the year in 2009 for his book International Business: Text and cases. He is enrolled as a resource person for SPSS, USA and panel consultant / Associate Member, in the sub-committee on education and management (Lot-9) of European Union/ADE Berlin since 2005.
