About the Author

Ajay V Deshmukh is presently with the Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune, as the Professor and Head of Instrumentation Engineering Department. He completed his Ph.D. from IIT Bombay Powai, Mumbai in 2006. He did his M. E. Instrumentation in 1994 and B. E. Instrumentation in 1989 from S. G. G. S. C. E. & T. Nanded. His research interests include Instrumentation, Microcontrollers, Signal and Image Processing and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. He is a member of Biomedical Society of India, Indian Nuclear Society (INS) BARC Mumbai, National Magnetic Resonance Society of India (NMRS), Instruments Society of India (ISOI), Society for Cancer Research and Communications India (SCRACI), IEEE, and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
