Ranjan Parekh is a faculty at the School of Education Technology, Jadavpur University, Calcutta, India. He is involved in teaching subjects related to multimedia and Web technologies at the postgraduate level, both in the conventional classroom mode and the distance education mode. His research interests include multimedia databases, distributed multimedia presentations, scripting representations and uses of multimedia in education.
