Benny Joseph graduated in Civil Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu in 1988 and obtained his Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering in 1990 from College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Subsequently he obtained his Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai in 2004. The author has been teaching graduate and postgraduate courses in various engineering colleges from 1990 onwards and his subjects include Environmental Engineering, Air and Noise Pollution, Environmental Safety, Environmental Pollution and Environmental Science. The author is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering at Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu.
