G C Beri was Professor, Head and Dean, Faculty of Management Studies, MS University of Baroda, prior to his retirement in 1992. Earlier, he was Professor and Dean, Faculty of Commerce in the same university. After obtaining his postgraduation inn commerce, he went on to study at London School of Economics and Political Science and obtained his PhD from University of London. On the merit of his PhD thesis he was awarded the Bowley Prize of London School of Economics. He was also awarded a Senior Visiting Fellowship at Queen Elizabeth House, Oxford. Dr Beri has carried out important studies and assignments for important organisations. He was also a member on the panel of Commerce of University Grants Commission for two years. He has authored four books and a number of papers.
