About the Author

Prof. N.P. Deshpande, is currently Vice-principal, Maharashtra Institute of Technology's College of Engineering, Pune. He secured his B. E. (E & TC) degree from Pune University in 1983 and Masters degree in 1999 after taking up teaching profession in 1997. He has worked in Research and Development departments of Forbesons Tech Centre and Datapro Electronics and production department of Philips India Ltd. He has worked in the fields of Biomedical and Process Control instrumen¬tation and Professional Audio equipments. He has provided consultancy to several industries. Prof. Deshpande is a life member of ISTE.
