Paige Baltzan
Paige Baltzan teaches in the Department of Information Technology and Electronic Commerce at theDaniels College of Business at the University of Denver. She holds a B.S.B.A. specializing in MIS/Accountingfrom Bowling Green State University and an M.B.A. specializing in MIS from the University of Denver.She is a coauthor on several books including Business Driven Technology, I-Series, and a contributor toManagement Information Systems for the Information Age.
Prior to joining the Daniels College faculty in 1999, Paige spent several years working for a largetelecommunications company and an international consulting fi rm where she participated in clientengagements in the United States as well as South America and Europe. Paige lives in Lakewood, Colorado,with her husband, Tony, and daughters, Hannah and Sophie.
Amy Phillips
Amy Phillips is a professor in the Department of Information Technology and Electronic Commerce in theDaniels College of Business at the University of Denver. Amys main teaching and research areas involveInternet and mobile technologies. With her MCT certifi cation, Amy works with developing training materialfor Microsofts Web Services platform, .NET. With more than 22 years teaching experience, Amy has coauthoredseveral textbooks, including Management Information Systems for the Information Age, 6/e, Business DrivenTechnology, Business Driven Information Systems, Internet Explorer 6.0 and PowerPoint 2003
Brian Detlor
Brian Detlor is an associate professor of Information Systems at the DeGroote School of Business at McMasterUniversity in Hamilton, Ontario. Brian specializes in research concerning Web information seeking, informationliteracy, knowledge management, and the adoption and use of portals across organizational, government,and community domains. He teaches a large introductory information systems course to undergraduateCommerce students, as well as a course on management issues in electronic business. With over 10 years ofcomputer industry experience, Brian has published scholarly articles in several leading journals, includingthe Communications of the ACM, the Journal of Business Research, and the Information Systems Journal, andhas authored/co-authored two books: Towards Knowledge Portals and Web Work. Recently, Brian has servedas a visiting professor in the College of Commerce at DePaul University in Chicago, USA.
