Unpaired Words
At, www.quinion.com/words/articles/unpaired.htm read about "unpaired words"—in this case, negative words whose opposites either no longer exist or are rare. After reading the examples on the page, brainstorm as many "unpaired" positive versions of common negative words as you can. Then, consult a dictionary. How many of your "unpairings" are actual words? Report your findings to your instructor in a 1- to 2-page memo.
