About the Author

F. Ernest Jerome taught courses in business mathematics, personal financial planning, corporate finance, mutual funds, and security analysis while professor of Finance and Quantitative Methods at Malaspina University-College in Nanaimo, British Columbia. After earning degrees in physics and oceanography, Professor Jerome obtained an MBA at the University of British Columbia, where he was awarded the Schulich Fellowship for Entrepreneurship. He holds a Chartered Financial Planner designation, and received the 1987 Outstanding Achievement Award from the Canadian Institute of Financial Planning.
