Annuity due  An annuity in which the periodic payments occur at the beginning of each payment interval.

Book value of a lease  The present value of the remaining lease payments (discounted at the interest rate on debt financing).

General annuity due  An annuity in which the payment interval does not equal the compounding interval, and payments occur at the beginning of each payment interval.
