Spreadsheet Template
This Excel .xls template — also available on the student CD-ROM and within the website's generic 'Additional Material' module — is supplied for solving problems that are flagged in the textbook's margin by a CD icon. The template assumes that the user already knows "spreadsheeting" well enough to be able to program cells with simple algebraic formulas.
     If Excel is installed on your computer and your web browser is properly configured, the file will open in a new window. Otherwise you'll be given the option of saving the file to your hard drive for later use.

Appendix: Amortization of Bond Premiums and Discounts
This appendix originally appeared in the 3rd edition of Business Mathematics in Canada. It's equally valuable for students using the 4th edition of the textbook.
     The file is posted in Acrobat PDF format, requiring Adobe's free Acrobat Reader application. After opening the file, you can print or save it using the icons on Acrobat's toolbar.
