Study Guide (007-0898685)
Keith Cheung, University of Windsor, prepared a valuable resource that provides students with an overview and additional review problems for each chapter. The Study Guide contains a comprehensive list of activities for the student, including chapter introductions and outlines, sources of business information, key concepts and terms, completion questions, and problems with accompanying solutions.
Financial Analysis Spreadsheet Templates (FAST)
These Excel-based templates allow students to work with spreadsheets and are connected to over 100 problems in the text, which are identified by an icon. These files are available to students for downloading on the Online Learning Centre.
Instructor Online Learning Centre (www.mcgrawhill.ca/college/brealey)
The Online Learning Centre includes a password-protected Web site for instructors. The site contains downloadable instructor supplements, solutions to Excel spreadsheets found on the student site, and projects for use with Standard & Poor’s Educational Version of Market Insight.
Instructor’s CD-ROM (ISBN 0070898707) includes the following:
Instructor’s Manual: Updated and enhanced by the authors, this supplement includes a descriptive preface containing alternative course formats and case teaching methods, a chapter overview and outline, and key terms and concepts. The second section of the Instructor’s Manual includes complete solutions to all end of chapter problems.
PowerPoint Presentations: Prepared by Carol Edwards of the British Columbia Institute of Technology, these visually stimulating slides have been fully updated with graphs, charts, and lists. These slides can be edited or manipulated to fit the needs of a particular course.
Computerized Test Bank: Brian Buchanan, of Langara College, has adapted the test questions (approximately 2,600 in total). The Test Bank contains true/false, multiple-choice, and discussion questions and problems, which are available to the instructor at varying levels of difficulty and comprehension. Complete answers are provided for all test questions and problems along with a reference to their location in the text. The Test Bank is available in the Diploma software program.
