| Click here to access the Portfolio Primer Increasingly, pre-service teachers are being asked to build portfolios in teacher
training programs and develop them throughout their teaching careers to meet
professional development and certification requirements. As technology becomes
an essential component of education and daily life, students and teachers are
increasingly publishing their portfolios online. E-portfolios allow students
to archive and showcase their work, reflect on their experiences, and share
this information online with instructors, peers, and potential employers. Obstacles
such as lack of technical expertise and limited time have hindered many instructors
from creating and supporting an e-portfolio system. FolioLive
answers the needs of these instructors, universities, and students by providing
an easy way to create, evaluate, and maintain electronic student portfolios. FolioLive enables students to develop
one or more electronic portfolios and house all of their materials, such as
audio, video, digital images, and text documents online. Students can select
from several different frameworks when building their portfolios. Chapter titles are outlined below with suggested artifacts for an educational psychology e-portfolio. Visit FolioLive
