The software industry offers budgeting software templates to meet the needs of many users and industries. This software provides a structured framework to input financial information. Programming is already complete enabling the user to focus on analysis of the information. To see some of the many different spreadsheets available in practice, complete the following requirements.

  1. Use the Yahoo search engine and search on the word budgeting. Identify at least five different industries or companies that provide budgeting spreadsheet templates.

  2. Select one company listing budgeting spreadsheet templates. List three functions offered in this template that are helpful. You will find many of the competitors offer similar features.
