Go to www.sedar.com, the Web site where public Canadian companies mustpost their annual reports and other corporate documents. Click on "Search Database,"then "Public Company." Select document type "Annual Report" then "Search" and youwill get a list of recent annual reports. Pick one and read it. What do you learn about thenature of the business and of the company's successes and failures? What type of assetsand liabilities are listed on the balance sheet? Using the cash flow statement, calculate thecash flow from assets and the financing flow. Treat interest as a financing flow.
