The Support Package for Instructors

We realize no text is complete without a well-rounded and value-added support package. Ours is designed to ease your teaching burden by providing you with all the resources necessary for instructors.

ONLINE LEARNING CENTRE
As in previous editions, the Web site for this edition contains a wealth of valuable information and supplements for both the instructor and the student. The Online Learning Centre (OLC) for this edition has been developed by Margaret Trenholm-Edmunds.

INSTRUCTOR’S CD-ROM
This CD-ROM contains all the necessary instructor supplements fully adapted for this edition.
  • INSTRUCTOR’S MANUAL is provided to instructors to help prepare class presentations. Beyond proving an outline of the chapters/modules and discussions about the various projects, exercises and assignments, the IM includes Concept Reinforcement boxes to guide use of the textbook’s pedagogy and modules, and facilitate class participation. The IM is also available through the Online Learning Centre.
  • COMPUTERIZED TEST BANK allows instructors to create their own tests, choosing from more than 1,000 multiple choice, true/false and fill in the blank questions. Developed by Margaret Trenholm-Edmunds, of Mount Allison University, the test bank items can also be selected according to topic and degree of difficulty.
  • POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS, developed by Anita Beecroft of Kwantlen College, have been adapted to reflect the 3rd edition and facilitate student learning in-class. These are also available on the Online Learning Centre.
