Robert Gardner, a recognized leader in Alberta’s Social Studies community, has been teaching all levels of high school Social Studies since 1987. Many of you have already enjoyed one of his over 20 workshops to date. Robert is currently teaching at Harry Ainlay High School in Edmonton.

Wayne Lavold has been teaching at the junior and high school levels for the past 10 years and is currently teaching at Harry Ainlay High School in Edmonton. Wayne has presented on curriculum development and assessment in the new curriculum and has developed globalization and human rights resources for the John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights which are used in classrooms across the province.
