Dear Ms. Kitt:

I recently received an (invited / invitation) to a friend's house to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Passover. I really (appreciate / depreciate) the gesture of (hospital / hospitality) , but I'm a little nervous. I wasn't raised religious and I know that Passover involves a lot of (customs / accustoms) and tradition. How will I know what to do at the dinner table? What should I wear? Should I bring something to my hosts? Please help!

Dear Worried:

The most important thing is to be (considerate / considered) of your hosts. (Thank / Thankful) them for inviting you. Let them know that you are (honored / dishonored) to be celebrating such an important holiday with them. I suggest that you also tell them that you are not too familiar with their traditions but you are excited to learn. If you get (confused / defused) , don't be shy about asking someone next to you what is going on. Also, you may do a little research before you get there. You might surprise them with your knowledge. Finally, a thank-you note is not necessary, but it is always (appreciated / depreciated) .
