Epidemic disease has played an important role in human history, from the Plague of Athens, to the smallpox epidemics in the Americas, to AIDS today.

  • Try to find on the Web additional information about the Black Death and its later recurrences in Europe
  • Try to find on the Web basic information about the smallpox epidemics that hit the native peoples of the Americas.
  • Try to find on the Web statistics about the current state of the AIDS epidemic
