Edwin Wilson received his Doctor of Fine Arts degree from Yale University. He has taught at Yale, Hofstra, Vanderbilt, Hunter College, and currently directs the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center at the City University of New York. He served as theater critic for the Wall Street Journal for 22 years. He was the president of the New York Drama Critics Circle and served several times on the Tony Nominating Committee and the Pulitzer Prize Drama Jury. His is on the boards of the John Golden Fund, the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, and the Theatre Development Fund, of which he was president. Alvin Goldfarb is vice president and provost of Illinois State University. He joined ISU as a theater faculty member in 1977 and served as department chair and dean of the College of Fine Arts. Dr. Goldfarb holds a Ph.D. in theater history from the Graduate Center of CUNY and a master's degree from Hunter College. He is the co-author of Anthology of Living Theater and Living Theater: A History with Edwin Wilson. Dr. Goldfarb is also the coeditor, with Rebecca Rovit, of Theatrical Performance during the Holocaust: texts, Documents, Memoirs.
