  • "Taking Social Psychology to Work/Taking Social Psychology to Life" boxes feature short essays by former student users of Myers Social Psychology text; The social psychology alumni write about how social psychology shows up both in their jobs and in their lives.
  • "The Social Connection" video modules: Available to any instructor using Myers' Social Psychology, these video clips were created in conjunction with Colorado State University. These short modules, one for each chapter in Social Psychology, combine recreations of classic social psychology experiments, footage from original experiments, and interviews with high profile social psychologists. All contained on one videotape for ease of use, these modules range from 5 to 18 minutes in length, designed to supplement, but not replace, classroom lectures.
  • The "Story Behind the Theory" boxes, selected and updated from the previous edition's Behind the Scenes boxes, are interviews with famous social psychology researchers discussing how they became interested in their area of research
  • Making the Social Connection CD: Packaged at no additional charge with the text, this CD-ROM contains short video outtakes from The Social Connection modules. These outtakes from interviews with researchers. elaborate on studies detailed within the text, or provide new insight into how famous researchers became interested in social psychology. This footage is not included in the modules created for classroom use.
  • Multiple choice questions, written for Myers/Social Psychology, that test students' understanding on a chapter-by-chapter basis.
