Melody

Summary

For many of us, melody is the most easily identifiable and intuitive aspect of music. It's easy to gain a hand-hold onto a musical piece through melody, because melody is something you can sing. The highs and lows of melody are easy to identify when reading melody, through the shape the notes make on the page. In this section, you'll be provided with resources on melodic concepts. You'll also be introduced to scales and modes that influence the structure of melodies.
