Harmony

Summary

If melody is the intuitive side of music, harmony can be understood as the intellectual side. It's what gives the melody support, or, what the melody flows through. It's the chord structure and progression in music, as well as a sense that allows for harmonizing single notes and improvising notes. The resources in this site provide a good basic introduction to music theory. Exercises in this section are provided to reinforce concepts in these resources related to harmony.
