Che Guevara
Ernesto "Che" Guevara was born on June 14, 1928. He studied at Buenos Aires University, where he became involved in politics. Later, he left for Guatemala. A coup overthrew the government, and Guevara left for Mexico. In 1956, Guevara joined the revolutionary movement in Cuba. He was an important ally of Castro. Guevara took on many important jobs in the Cuban government after the revolution. After a while, he and Castro did not agree. He led a force of 120 Cubans in Africa, but the mission ended in failure. Che's last adventure took him to Bolivia with a small group of Cuban soldiers. Unfortunately, the Bolivian army killed most of the group. Guevara was captured and executed on October 9, 1967.
