Pablo Picasso is probably the most influential artist of the twentieth century said Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up." I believe that Picasso says that all children believe that can create art because they have not concept of "good" and "bad" art. A child draws a picture in school and proudly rushes home to show it with her parents. Why? Because she made it. She has not critical sense tells him the piece of art is worthy of be displayed on the refrigerator or not. She expects her parents to display it, and they usually does. Although, as children continue in school they learn that there are the things that you are "supposed to do" when you create the art. They also begin understanding that the children which do what they are supposed to do are "good at art," while the others children are not. Gradually, their pride in their artist accomplishment disappear. After a few years, most children will tell you, I'm not good at art." And they have also learned the corollary of that statement: those who aren't good at art shouldn't do art.
