Information useful for evaluating job offers can be found on the Internet. Two useful Web sites are:

Hoover's Online

Bureau of Labor Statistics

1. Choose a company that you think you might like to work for. Visit the Hoover's site to learn more about the company (e.g. its mission, values, culture, activities, and locations) and examine current job openings. Does the company still seem like one you would like to work for? Explain why or why not.

2. Choose an occupation and compare the median hourly wage for that occupation in two different states by visiting the Bureau of Labor Statistics site.
