Lab 2: Modifying and Refining a Presentation

The following concepts will be introduced in this lab:

  1. Find and Replace: To make editing easier, you can use the Find and Replace feature to both find text in a presentation and replace it with other text as directed.
  2. Table: A table is made up of rows and columns of cells that you can fill with text and graphics.
  3. Alignment: Alignment settings allow you to change the horizontal placement of an entry in a placeholder or a table cell.
  4. Design Template: Design templates are professionally created slide designs that can be applied to a presentation.
  5. Master: A master is a special slide that controls the format and placement of titles and text for all slides in your presentation.
  6. Special Effects: Special effects such as animation, sound, slide transitions, and build slides are used to enhance the onscreen presentation.
