Robert E. Stinson

  • MA Thesis written on Mauricio Lasansky, Argentinean printmaker teaching at University of Iowa. (Met my Peruvian wife who helped me translate Spanish articles about Lasansky).

Phillip R. Wigg

  • Born in Kansas City Kansas, 1921
  • Bachelor of Arts degree, Park College, Parkville, Missouri -
  • Following flight training was a pilot in the South and Southwest Pacific during World War II
  • Master of Fine Arts degree, University of Iowa, 1948, teaching a variety of courses, particularly printmaking and life drawing at Bowling Green State University.
  • Professor of Art Emeritus after teaching from 1948 until 1982
  • Co-author of Arts and Crafts through nine editions (now with McGraw-Hill)
  • In my lifetime I have exhibited widely, occasionally garnering awards

David Cayton

  • Professor of Art Emeritus at Bowling Green State University, received his BFA with teaching certification from the College of Education and MFA degrees from Bowling Green State University. He began his teaching career in 1964 after two years as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Teaching Fellow. Over the years his administrative assignments have included: Head of Printmaking, Coordinator of the Art Foundation Program, 2-D Area Head, Acting Director School of Art, and various College, School and Faculty Senate Committees.
  • Though his teaching was concentrated primarily on printmaking and foundations, Mr. Cayton also taught drawing, oil and watercolor painting, sculpture, and ceramic courses at Bowling Green State University and Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
  • Mr. Cayton's work has been seen in numerous invitational, one man, and competitive exhibitions from the New Art Center in Osaka, Japan to The Contemporary Arts Forum, Santa Barbara, Ca.
