While he currently teaches courses in animal diversity, entomology, and invertebrate zoology, his primary interest is in developing media tools to enhance the instructional and academic environment. Dr. Houseman has also been involved in training instructors in the use of technology (especially PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, web page creation, and First Class). Jon's background is in biology, with an emphasis in entomology.
