Philip Tate
Instructor of Anatomy and Physiology at Phoenix College
Phil Tate earned a B.S. in zoology, a B.S. in mathematics, and an M.S. in ecology at San Diego State University; and a Doctor of Arts (D.A.) in biological education from Idaho State University. He is an award-winning instructor who has taught a wide spectrum of students at the fouryear and community college levels. Phil has served as the annual conference coordinator, president-elect, president, and past president of the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society (HAPS).
