All Americans are guaranteed the right to a fair and speedy trial according to the Constitution; however, the specific details of each case influence the process and rulings uniquely. The circumstances of the arrest, personal attributes of the defendant, type of defense representation, position of the Judge, composure jury and events in the courtroom, from eyewitness accounts to character or expert witnesses all combine to result in a unique ruling for each case. You are the defendant, pulled over by the police for speeding, and found to be in the possession of a controlled substance, marijuana. You make certain decisions on how to behave, how to plea, and how you would like to be represented. In each case the result is different, and the outcome unique.
