Listed below are 34 investigations, one for each of the 34 activity sets of Mathematics For Elementary Teachers: An Activity Approach, Sixth Edition. These investigations may also be found at the chapter/activity set level.
The investigations pose questions to generate interest in various mathematical topics from the activity book and encourage students to formulate and investigate their own conjectures. One use of these investigations is for term papers in which students report on their conjectures and the patterns they find.
