Introduction to Matlab 7 for Engineers, 2/e

This is a simple, concise book designed to be useful for beginners and to be kept as a reference. MATLAB is presently a globally available standard computational tool for engineers and scientists. The terminology, syntax, and the use of the programming language are well defined and the organization of the material makes it easy to locate information and navigate through the textbook. The text covers all the major capabilities of MATLAB that are useful for beginning students. An instructor’s manual and other web resources are available.

This site contains helpful resources for instructors and students. If you click on the Information Center link on the left, you will find the following: About the Author, Book Preface, Feature Summary, Table of Contents, and PageOut (a useful tool creating an instructor’s website).

Instructors should click on the Instructor Center link to see the Table of Contents. Click on a chapter title to access:

    1. the Solutions Manual in PDF format, one file per chapter, and
    2. over 600 PowerPoint slides keyed to the book, with one file for each chapter.
