Chapter 14: Human Variation

  1. You should be familiar with the multiple aspects of human variation. This includes how they came about, and what they do and do not mean.

  2. You should know what race is and what it is not. You should be able to defend the argument that there is no such thing as biological race.

  3. You should understand that a cultures technology is not a reflection of a cultures intelligence or ability.

  4. You should know the limitations that IQ tests impose on actually measuring a person’s intelligence.
