1. Use the Internet to find information so that you can create a list of symbionts that interact with the human host. In an adjacent column, indicate whether the symbiont is commensal, mutualistic or parasitic. In a final column, indicate under what conditions the symbiotic relationship changes (for example, a commensal becomes a parasite, a parasite dies, etc.).

2. When a baby is born, it contains relatively few, if any, microorganisms. How does the development of normal microflora take place? Search the web for an answer.
