Public opinion about abortion

    The Gallup Organization has been conducting public opinion polls about abortion for many years. Current and historical results are available at http://www.gallup.com/poll/Indicators/indabortion.asp Gallup's Abortion Issues page. Gallup also conducts special polls about specific abortion-related issues, such as the abortion pill.     The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) publishes national surveillance reports on abortion that look at overall abortion statistics and at particular factors, such as age and ethnicity of mother, type of procedure, and weeks of gestation.
