• New, integrated cultural video segments appear after every four chapters. This new section, called Bienvenue dans le monde francophone, provides cultural video footage from five Francophone cities throughout the world: Paris, France; Quebec City, Canada; Dakar, Senegal; Brussels, Belgium; and Fort-de-France, Martinique. In the textbook, the corresponding Un coup d’œil… features provide more information about the city in question and the accompanying Portrait readings present an important figure from each region.

• A new Révisez section, which appears after every four chapters, provides students with grammar review activities.
• This new Online Learning Center Website contains robust material, such as: vocabulary and grammar exercises, questions and links to the On est branché! cultural feature from the text, study hints for students, and much more.
• The Testing Program has been significantly revised, based on extensive reviewer feedback.
• The Annotated Instructor Edition notes have been carefully revised to include more information and suggestions overall, a greater emphasis on culture, and greater clarity and precision in the information provided.
