About the AuthorsDAVID HOTHERSALL is an emeritus professor of psychology at The Ohio State University. Born and raised in England, he came to the United States in 1965 and received his Ph.D from the University of Tennessee in 1968. Since then he has been at Ohio State. The recipient of a number of teaching awards, including Ohio State's Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching, he has taught courses on the history of psychology to both undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to the history of psychology his teaching interests include introduction to psychology for honors students. He has written numerous papers on learning and memory as well as an introductory psychology text published in 1984. From 1990 to 1998 he was the director of The Ohio State University Honors Program. He now teaches courses on the history of psychology to undergraduate and graduate students at Ohio State and to advanced undergraduate students at Ohio Wesleyan University. |
