Artists: Paul Cezanne
The life and struggles of Cezanne reveal incredible strength of character. Cezanne maintained a diligent relationship with his artistic ideals and craft in order to insure the intangible value of his work, regardless of critical or public opinion. He may have been a grumpy guy who took little pleasure in acclaim when it finally came his way, but he surely took personal pleasure in pursuing his projects on his own terms.
