The site http://www.ac.wwu.edu/~mgmt311b/FormalGroup/cycle_ii_diad_group_reading_assi.htm gives a summary about self-disclosure, including "rewards'' and "blocks'' to self-disclosure. The site also contains a diagram of the Johari window and a section on perception.

The page at http://psychology2.semo.edu/scales/MFSDS.htm contains the Masculine and Feminine Self-Disclosure Scale (MFSDS), by Dr. William E. Snell Jr. of Southeast Missouri State University. MFSDS is a detailed self-quiz that asks you to what extent you would be willing to discuss different topics with different people. This is a very helpful for small groups, considering the diversity of most groups.
