• Primary Source Investigator, a CD for students, features mini-documentaries and hundreds of primary sources such as documents, images, maps, and charts. PSI offers the opportunity to investigate and work with the sources, take notes on them, then craft a paper or presentation. PSI is packaged free with each new copy of Nation of Nations.
• A new epilogue offers a global perspective on American history and provides the most current information possible at the time of publication.
• Three new global maps have been added: one on Atlantic trading, one on the influenza pandemic, and one on the Near East since 1945.
