| 3. Be familiar with the differences between traditional and modern tragedies. |

| 4. Have an understanding of the characteristics and different forms of comedy. |

| 5. Have a knowledge of the other genres: heroic drama, melodrama, domestic or Bourgeois drama, and tragicomedy. |

| 6. Know the difference between the Shakespearean tragicomedy and modern tragicomedy. Be familiar with the synopsis of Tartuffe. |
