Whose needs are of most worth, those of special needs students, or of “regular” students? Do their needs actually conflict? As a teacher, would you want special needs children mainstreamed, or pulled out? Imagine yourself the parent of a special needs child. Would you want your child mainstreamed, or pulled out?
