Constructivism  A learning theory emphasizing experience-based activities.

Hypertext Markup Language (HTML)  The basic language that people use to build hypertext electronic documents on the Web.
Internet  A system of worldwide networks that enable the user to send electronic mail, conduct research, chat, and participate in newsgroups.
Logo  A high-level programming language designed for children that contains many functions found in LISP.
Network  Computers that share storage devices, peripherals, and applications. A network can be connected by telephone lines, satellites, or cables.
PLATO  Programmed Logic for Automatic Teaching Operations, developed by the University of Illinois and Control Data Corporation. This early computer system was designed for instructional use.
