4.5 Burnout

Home care may sound domestic and low key, but it is quietly bearing massive burdens in the health care system. Family caregivers may be responsible for 24-hour shifts. Whether paid or volunteer, caregivers can be subject to stress. It is important to recognize when stress levels have a detrimental effect on caregivers.
