Sara is visiting her friend Priscilla, who is perfecting her Italian at the famous University for Foreigners in Perugia, where a lot of students from many Italian programs of American Universities go to spend the summer. In July, Perugia hosts Umbria Jazz, the most important jazz festival in Europe. Sara and Priscilla decide to go see a concert in the historical Piazza Maggiore, the focal point of this hilly city with steep streets and alleys and sweeping vistas of the surrounding countryside.
