The Kamien Interactive Listening Outlines are software that can be downloaded free on the internet at the Kamien Interactive Listening Outlines Webpage. There are also other versions of the software coordinated to the brief CD set that is available with the 4th brief edition of Kamien and to the brief CD set that is available with the 8th hardcover edition of Kamien.
Unlike other listening programs that require several different software installations, the Kamien Listening Guides are contained in a single software file that modifies itself to conform to the Kamien audio CD that is placed in your computer’s CD-ROM drive.What do they do?
The Kamien Interactive Listening Outlines allow students to experience the text of a Kamien listening guide in real time by blending text and music into a single multimedia presentation on the computer.
Instructors can use the Interactive Listening Outlines in class as a presentation tool and can place them in a listening lab for student access.
