Find the online site of your local or hometown newspaper. (Search Google for it.) Does the site take advantage of multimedia capabilities, such as using sound or video? Is there a searchable archive of past stories? Does the site offer large databases that couldn't be printed in the paper, such as crime listings by neighborhood, detailed school test score data or property assessments by street? What else is good—and bad—about the site?
