A reporter for a metropolitan paper is working on an in-depth article about a controversy over artwork that will be permanently exhibited in the state Capitol. As a regular reader of the weekly newspaper serving the suburban community where he lives, the reporter is distressed with how poorly the weekly is covering the controversy. He decides to write an op-ed (commentary) article for the weekly giving his assessment of the controversy, including his opinions of the people involved. Did the reporter do anything wrong by writing the article for the weekly?
